Bellway/Coplan bag £100m Ilford

Bellway City Solutions with Metropolitan Housing and Coplan Estates has been selected for the £100m regeneration of Ilford town centre.

Redbridge council, advised by Drivers Jonas, picked the consortium ahead of five other parties – Barratt Homes, Berkeley Homes, Countryside/Tesco, Crest Nicholson and Lend Lease.

The scheme for the 4.2-acre Unity Square will include at least 450 houses, a theatre, shops and leisure.
